Thermal spa Resort of PRE-SAINT-DIDER
From a beautiful balcony overlooking the Mont Blanc, the Thermal resort of Pré-Saint-Didier is an absolute must-visit point of relax.
The impressive outdoor pools are just the top point of the glacier of a resort, magnificent and meticulously cared for. A dense network of internal corridors may lead you to the countless ponds, waterfalls, steam baths and saunas, where the thermal water is exploited in many ways, so much so that you can easily spend a whole day in the resort without ever getting bored.
SHOPPING & APRES-SKI
A simple walk in the streets of Courmayeur Centre, among the luxurious boutiques and typical bars becomes magic under the lights and warm atmosphere of the marvellous balcony looking at Mont Blanc’s chain.
Even its twin French town, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is beautiful and definitely worth a visit if only for a walk and a dinner in one of its lovely Savoyard restaurants. Here, the great sport marks make a little race waiting to be shown in the big shops of exclusive centre streets, crowded all year long by people of all nationalities: on the terraces of bistros fur and high heels are mixed with skiers returning from a skiing day, having done the ascent – descent path at more than 3,000 meters in altitude, still holding the ski equipment on their shoulders.
The near town of Aosta is a beautiful town, with the Roman ruins as background, the central pedestrian road is long and full of shops , ateliers and nice restaurants and bistrots. A visit is strongly reccomended.
If you are in La Thuile, the shopping time might be quite short, as the village is very small and there is not a proper shopping road. Nevertheless , après-ski and fun won’t miss, at least during the high season :). Various bars and pubs will organize events and shows, but for aperitif and aprés-ski check at Petit-Skieur , both in Summer and Winter.
In Morgex, the center offers very small shopping, a part from Thursday village market or other markets and exhibitions organized during the Year. Near the Famila Supermarket, there is a little shopping center. Here you can also find the “Bikers Pub” for your evening.
